Mechanics Bank Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio 2014

It's incredible to attend a racing event at such an iconic locale as Mid-Ohio. Then make that event a vintage grand prix featuring eleven separate groups of vintage race cars - from Ferrari's to Lolas to Mini coopers - and you've got one heck of a good time brewing! I shot Saturday's events from about noon to 4:00pm, catching most of the various groups on track and during race prep in the garages.

From 200MPH F-1 cars to the classic beauty of Bugattis and Ferraris, it’s all on the track with Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA). We call the major tracks of the United States home – Watkins Glen, Mid-Ohio, Virginia International Raceway, Sebring, Road America ...
